Boats Building Plans Download

Let me take a wild guess. You've spent hundreds of dollars or even more on your fishing boats - it took you a LOT longer than you thought, or maybe you even called it quits because you kept getting your measurements wrong.

Or perhaps you've:

Postponed a boat because you ran out of ideas?
Thought you had every detail figured out, only to find that it still went wrong!
Had sticker-shock because of the high prices DIY stores charges for their fishing boats, paddle wheel and cabin cruisers?

If you answered YES to any of the above, I feel your pain! You see, I used to be exactly where you are. That's why I put up this site: to help folks like yourself get the job done cheaply, fast and without headaches, every time, using my never-before published boat plans.

When I built my first boat, almost 20 years ago, I thought I had it all figured out. 4 exhausting months later, I still wasn't done - I thought I had every detail measured out, only to find that I've got it all WRONG. So I decided to find a better way.

For the past 6 years, I've spent thousands of hours buying, reading and restructuring boat plans. Restructuring, because most plans on the market left me with questions - not answers! Their diagrams are confusing, unclear, or even wrong and they often skip important parts. No wonder boat building seemed so hard!

I just discovered this Plans4Boats Package,

There are over 250 easy-to-follow blueprints that comes with step-by-step instructions and detailed photos. Cool thing is, I've been quietly using the 3D boat design software for the past 2 months to build my sail boat! You'll love it.

if you are planning a commercial boating venture then i strongly suggest that you have your boat commercially designed and built. depending on where you plan to operate your boat, you will be subject to regulations, licensing, safety, insurance, and other rules including having a professional skipper/ crew to run the boat.

my suggestion is to discuss your needs with a professional builder like keelow craft (see the site below)

Glen-L has a great variety of plans and kits, but not free. They developed these plans and expect to be paid.

Try the blueprints on the Plans4Boats site. I’m building a sailboat right now with a fantastic custom plan drawn to scale.

I’m almost 70% done, ready to roll in a day or two.

go to http://www.pdracer.com. I built hull #58 and have been the Canadian Champion three years running. We hold a hatch every spring and in the last three years teams have built 20 boats over the course of a weekend. They start with a pile of lumber on Friday and are sailing sunday afternoon. The Puddle Duck is the simplest boat you can build.

I’m building a 16′ Banker Dory Boat with the help of plans from this site. It’s for a real-life navigational project, so I need to get the details as authentic as possible.

Where can I find boat building plans with complete full sized patterns for a 1st time small boat builder?
I’ve never built a boat and am NOT a handy person. I’d really like to build a small row boat or a boat that I can put a small motor on. It has to be very easy to build–cut, screw, tape, paint–plus cheap! I need Full Sized Patterns for the complete small boat- not just the hull. I have done some research but can’t find it. It can’t be any longer then 8′ and 7′ would be better. Needs a flat bottom. No more then 3 sheets of plywood to build but 2 would be better. I want to learn how to build a boat but a simple one. I want to spend some time with my dad. Thanks, from an older woman.
